"'Oh *BLEEP*mas tree oh *BLEEP*mas tree'... Why'm I getting bleeped?! I gotta say Holiday?"
"Yup, you might offend somebody. You know, like the *BLEEP*s and the *BLEEP*s and the atheists!"
"Gotta be politically correct..."
"C'mon guys, it's not that hard, just say 'I'm dreaming of a *BLEEP* Holiday."
"You have to say 'Caucasian'"
"So i gotta say: 'I'm dreaming of a Caucasian Holiday?!?!!?"
"aaw this is just stupid......"
u r going down...
hahaha, where is that from!?
"caucasion holiday" is evil too...i mean how racist is that? Why can't it be a latino holiday...why does it always gotta be white?
"Going in Blind" by P.O.D. and "kiss from a rose" are two songs me and B recenetly found
erin, are you mad at your sister for a reason? btw, we'll probably hold off lotr till next week...since Brandon forgot to get off work. And since the idea orginated when B was like "erk i gotta see that movie again!" And i was like "I KNOW!" and then my dad one day was like, "we really need to watch the entire thing again" and Sean being himself was like "we should watch all three of them in a row!"
Christmas comes to early...they're already singing christmas songs on country stations...that means death! Were getting a tree tomorrow...whoohoo!
Christmas always seems too weird, like floating out of reality into some overhyped season that involves chaos and delving back into the child you were 5 years ago
Well, um, yeah... nvm =D
I most country christmas songs, and all the songs they play on 97.1 are so obnoxious! Do y'all know of any good Christmas music?
From a song i heard recently...well it was kind of a song but not really...sort of...uh, yeah.
"kiss from a rose" by who?
Oh Chad...you make me laugh ;-) altho i do feel like that when they play songs that have nothing whatsoever to do with the real "Christmas" and are randomly annoying and start playing on stations the week b4 Thanksgiving and last till mid January. Yuck.
But yeah Christmas does rock =) mmmm...frosty windowpanes, sugar cookies, snowflakes on your eyelashes, sitting by the fire, lights, hot chocolate, Christmas trees and candles...
Oh I love this season! =D
yeah tuffer...and you shared one feeling..."christmas rocks" how profound.
[by Seal]
haha...christmas never had frosty windowpanes, sugar cookies, sonflakes on your eyelashes, fire, or working lights. (I suppose after the last candle failure there was SOME fire) My christmas always consisted of sledding down mutimer hill into mutimer house, snowboardsledding down matty's hill, snowballs in your eye and everywhere else you thought was warm and protected (like down your back). I guess we had hot chocolate in the later years but earlier we drank some invention (probably polish...act prob not) called honey hugs...which involved warm milk and honey and cinnimon (which almost doesn't sounds as appetizing as it once did)
now that i'm done sharing my entire second life (tuffer, seriously what the heck)
ok and lotr:ttt is officially December 9
ugh yeah i was trying to be optimistic about what i have to look forward to this invalid Christmas...lol. But hey, Christmas was all that stuff i said plus this with my sisters and cousins every single day:
Sledding/flying on the Cousin's hill and slamming into trees... and when we decided there weren't enough bruises and near-death-experiances and freaked out mothers, doing it standing up since we didn't have snowboards. We'd eat some Syrup Snow to recover our strength and, revitalized by the slushy polluted "flavored" sugar (oh grossss), head off to start a snow war. After entering the various portals that lead to other worlds, I'd always start out leading the charge, arguing that "no! i didn't d i e!" in the first wave, beating the other army, giving my troops to my second in command, and sneaking off to hide in a tree and be a sniper in the next round. When we were finally done k i l l in g eachother, getting destroyed by frostbite, and tired of bashing into trees, there'd be a fireplace, fuzzy blankets, and hot chocolate waiting inside.
Yup, that's how we filled our days. And oh it was fun!
Yuck, we even tried to sell that syrup-snow stuff. Not that it ever worked :P We also smeared vegetable oil on our snowsuits and tried to slide down the road. Oh, and building huge ramps that we would always fly off of and land head-first in the snow. Building igloos and snow forts. Fun times!
“We want to wish every one of you a very merry Christmas!”
“Hold it right there you guys”
“Stop interrupting!”
“Uh yeah, you guys should know the holidays can be one of the most offensive times of year”
“Offensive!? Holidays are awesome! You get tons of Christmas presents and you eat a bunch of candy canes!”
“But just think about how exclusive that statement is to people who don’t celebrate Christmas or to dentists, or to people who use canes!”
“Oh come on, I suppose you want to chicken out and just say happy holidays?”
“Yeah I don’t know, holidays implies holy. Some people aren’t religious at all. Also the word happy, might be insensitive to people who suffer from depression.”
“What!?”
“He’s right you know, each year clinical depression affects millions of Americans”
“Don’t say Americans!”
“Oops, right, your right, sorry.”
“What’s going on over here?!”
“They’re worried about offending people that don’t celebrate Christmas”
“eehh…”
“I mean the holidays.”
“Still kinda…”
“That don’t celebrate a special time at the end of the year. That better?”
“The Aztecs use a different calendar. The end of their year is actuall-”
“Oh come on the Aztecs have been dead for thousands of years.”
“Ok well if we can’t say happy holidays, what can we say?”
“Just think of something that’s as inoffensive as possible.”
“What if we just say ‘hi’, ‘hello’!”
“In what language?”
::sigh::
“How about if just send a universal mathematical message, with no implied emotion.”
“Would you send it in hexadecimal?”
“………yes.”
“Ok!”
sorry...i keep adding like things that...yeah...NVM...WHATEVER NOOBS (...i just felt like acting like Mahaney...I blame it on my inner child)
